In Matsuzakicho, you can enjoy both river fishing and sea fishing.
There are two rivers, the Naka River and the Iwashina River, which join at the mouth of the river and flow into the sea. Sea bass can be caught at the mouth of the river, sweetfish can be caught in the middle reaches, and amago (trout) can be caught upstream.
In the sea, you can enjoy embankment fishing, boat fishing, and rock fishing.
There is Matsuzaki Port (New Port) on the embankment, there is plenty of parking space, and there are toilets, so it is safe for women and families.
Boat fishing can be enjoyed from nearby Matsuzaki Port to fishing for big game such as Senoumi.
Although there are rocky shores for surf fishing, we recommend using a ferry for safety reasons.
The ferry departs from Kumomi Port.
