This is Sakura Mochi from Baigetsuen.
Two pieces of salted cherry blossom leaves, a specialty of Matsuzaki Town, are used.

The salted sakura leaves used in sakura mochi and other products are a special product of Matsuzaki Town, with a 70% share of the national market. The Oshima cherry leaves picked from May to August are pickled in salt, and after half a year, they emit a sweet fragrance, which has been selected as one of the Hundred Best Fragrance Landscapes by the Ministry of the Environment.
