Yoda Old Residence, a tangible cultural property designated by Shizuoka Prefecture
Yoda Old Residence is a national cultural property of five buildings, including the main building built 300 years ago in the middle of the Edo period, the Genroku period, the detached house built 200 years ago, and the 3 storehouses built at the end of the Edo period to make a total of 5 buildings. It was designated as a cultural property of Shizuoka Prefecture in Heisei 22 (2010).

History of the Yoda family (reference room)
The Yoda family is said to have been a retainer of Baisetsu Anayama, a retainer of Shingen Takeda, and moved from Koshu at the end of the Warring States period and put down roots here.For 400 years, the Yoda family has supported the local community as the landlord and protected the family for generations.
In the Edo period, the Yoda family supported the region with charcoal production and shipping that made use of the mountains.In the Meiji period, Sanipei started a new industry centered on the silk industry, and served the region as a member of the Diet. rice field.His younger brother Benzo was a pioneer in the development of Tokachi, Hokkaido, and is enshrined at the Hokkaido Development Shrine in Sapporo.
Marusei butter sand
Benzo, the younger brother of Sanihei, worked on the development of Tokachi, Hokkaido, and the "Banseisha" formed at that time left its mark on Rokkatei's "Marusei Butter Sand", which is now a representative confectionery of Hokkaido. .
Banseisha (Yoda Ranch) founded by Benzo Yoda in 38 was the first to commercialize butter in Hokkaido.Rokkatei has reprinted and redesigned the label from that time.

Yoda Old Residence's bamboo cutter, utensil storehouse, rice storehouse, tea room, and watermill must be submitted to the Mayor of Yoda Old Residence from June to three days before the month in which they are to be used (Form No. 6). may be submitted to and used with permission.
